Investor Conferences
THSRC is invited to participate in investor conferences every quarter to present updates on operational performance, financial performance, and business prospects, as well as to communicate and discuss business developments with investors. All materials presented at investor conferences are publicly disclosed on the “Investor Relations” section of the THSRC website to ensure information transparency. The following is a summary of investor questions and THSRC responses from investor conferences conducted this year:
Response provided by the Vice President of the Finance Division:
The 12 new generation rolling stock are scheduled to be delivered to Taiwan from Japan in the third quarter of 2026, and are expected to enter service in the third quarter of 2027 after a series of static tests and mainline tests have been concluded. All 12 trainsets will be put into operation by the fourth quarter of 2028.
We hope the inclusion of these new trains will ease our current load factor, increase capacity during peak periods, and improve the quality of passenger services.
Response provided by the Vice President of the Finance Division:
The timing and amount of each corporate bond issuance will be determined based on overall economic conditions and government bond yields. THSRC makes ESG-related investments every year in accordance with corporate development strategies and business plans, and we plan to issue sustainable development bonds this year if suitable opportunities arise.
Response provided by the Vice President of the Finance Division:
Our “HSR 2.0” initiative includes six major domains (“Train 2.0,” “Station 2.0,” “Travel 2.0,” “Business 2.0,” “Brand 2.0,” and “Sustainability 2.0”) and encompasses upgrading of train, station, and passenger service facilities; expansion of our business footprint and innovative business models; introduction of brands and services that meet passenger needs; and other areas such as brand experience and sustainable transportation.
We aim to enhance the quality of passenger services by comprehensively upgrading our tangible service facilities and introducing technological applications so we can bring a whole new travel experience to the public and transform THSRC from a convenient mode of transportation into a national intelligent, resilient, and sustainable transportation artery that continues to advance Taiwan's social and economic developments.
