Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, THSR will be reducing the frequency of trains during the Dragon Boat Festival holidays .

5.Cause of occurrence:
Owning to severe declines in passenger volumes caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, and following careful evaluation of epidemic changes and passenger needs, THSRC will be reducing the number of train services from 832 to 464 during Dragon Boat Festival. Non-reserved tickets will not be available on all trains during this holiday season , and THSRC will adjust operating resources in accordance with implementations of corporate governance.
6.Countermeasures:
(1)  In response to cancellation of specific train services during Dragon Boat Festival holidays(2021/6/11~2021/6/15), THSRC will proactively utilize contact information provided by passengers to issue notifications regarding reservations on cancelled trains via emails or text messages, and will assist passengers with refunds or bookings for other trains as needed. If passengers have not completed ticket changes prior to original boarding times, station personnel can help to facilitate passenger journeys by providing on-site refunds or reservations for other trains.
(2)  Additionally, THSRC will also actively communicate the latest updates on operational services adjustments in accordance with epidemic prevention measures via messages on the T-Express mobile app, the THSRC corporate website, and station posters. THSRC hereby reminds passengers to be attentive of relevant information.
(3) THSR will stop selling the non-reserved seat tickets during the Dragon Boat Festival holidays .All seats will be sold as reserved seat tickets from 6/2.
